Rory McMillen joins PMA
PMA are pleased to announce that Rory McMillen has joined the
recruitment team to head up Marketing and Search. Rory has been involved
in recruitment within the communications and related sectors for over
15yrs.
He has built a reputation for recruiting individuals into pivotal roles
where they have made a significant contribution to the bottom line.
As such, his methodology has been to intimately understand the strategic
positioning of his client companies, then to go forward thought
processes and the dynamics driving the resultant strategy. Only then
could he begin his search for the right candidate. The real achievers
rarely apply for roles, so Rory makes it his business to know where they
are, what they are doing and what would represent their next career
challenge.
His ethos matches that of PMA - to provide a professional and effective
service, offering candidates and clients the opportunity to explore the
best options in a highly competitive marketplace. Some examples of work
carried out for clients include:
- Rory placed the hub of the Corporate Finance Team
at BT post
privatisation when they were in global acquisition mode.
- He put the Network Optimisation team into MCI Worldcom
EMEA as
the emphasis began to swing from revenues and onto margin/cost.
- Rory also put a number of pan European Project Manager
COOs and
CEOs into Ericsson Consulting between 1999 and 2001.
- He also placed the senior level marketing team into
O2 through
2003/4. Their recent results and performance reflect the impact they
have made.
PMA are very pleased that Rory has decided to join us and look forward
to his immense contribution to the team as we embark on a rapid period
of growth. To contact Rory directly, please email him on rory@pmarecruitment.co.uk
